Resident Aide

Chateau at Valley Center - Memory Care Community

Chateau at Valley Center Memory Care is committed to resident centered care. This means we tailor our response to resident needs on a uniquely individual basis. Inherent in this philosophy is the assumption that every resident has value and purpose, and desires to be a contributing participant in the activities of their daily life.

Care Levels

Chateau at Valley Center Memory Care offers three levels of specialized dementia assistance. We are committed to care for your loved one for as long as possible. We work with families to contract with outside agencies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, foot care and hospice in support of this goal.

Peace of Mind & Comfort

We are a secure, intimate care setting specially designed and operated to support residents with dementia. We offer a cozy community that comforts residents with the familiarity of a home-like environment. For example, residents and families are encouraged to bring furnishings and family photos that create calming familiarity in their personal living spaces.

Dedicated & Compassionate Staff

• Oversight provided by our full-time LPN, under the direction of our company RN
• Caregivers are hired for their experience with, compassion for and understanding of dementia-related diseases
• Ongoing specialized dementia care training is provided to all caregivers
• Our staff patiently interacts with our residents in the moment that is real to them

Part Time Receptionist

Chateau at Valley Center is a luxury retirement community located in Renton across the street from Valley Medical Center. We offer regular hours with set days off, competitive wages, benefits, bonuses, and a pleasant, supportive work environment with opportunities for advancement.

We are currently seeking a part time receptionist for our front desk staff. The position will cover evenings (4pm to 9pm) and weekends (7:30am to 4pm, and 4pm to 9pm). Applicant must be 18 or over to apply. Responsibilities include greeting guests, responding to calls, helping residents, and providing a vital link between residents and staff.

Full Time Housekeeper

We are currently hiring for a full time housekeeper.  The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. Primary responsibilities will be regular upkeep of residents rooms and general housekeeping throughout the building.

Sous Chef

South King County’s premier retirement community Chateau at Valley Center seeks experienced, hands-on sous-chef to oversee kitchen cooking operations for our elegant, restaurant-style culinary program. Exercise your culinary training and creativity in a positive, supportive and appreciative work environment. Avoid the frantic pace, high stress and uncertainty of the traditional food industry without relaxing your standards on food quality.

Ideal candidates have training and experience in a traditional hotel/restaurant setting and possess a passion for preparing and presenting excellent food. Candidate will report to the Culinary Services Director and will lead all culinary preparations in an active, cooking capacity. Enjoy the variety of our culinary program, which ranges from daily restaurant-style dining to monthly media-acclaimed gourmet fine dining.
