Chateau Valley Center believes each resident has value and purpose. By creating partnerships with residents, family, and staff we can work together to provide resident centered care empowering each resident to be a contributing participant in their activities of daily life.

We offer private and companion suites that can accommodate a wide range of care services. At Chateau Valley Center we put residents first, and provide resources to help families understand exactly what their loved ones are experiencing.

Memory Care Levels

Chateau Valley Center offers four levels of specialized dementia assistance. We are committed to care for your loved one for as long as possible. We work with families to contract with outside agencies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, foot care and hospice in support of this goal.

Peace of Mind & Comfort
We are a secure, intimate care setting specially designed and operated to support residents with dementia. We offer a cozy community that comforts residents with the familiarity of a home-like environment. For example, residents and families are encouraged to bring furnishings and family photos that create calming familiarity in their personal living spaces.

Dedicated & Compassionate Staff

• Oversight provided by our dedicated Memory Care Director with support from our full-time LPN and company RN
• Caregivers are hired for their experience with, compassion for and understanding of dementia-related diseases
• Ongoing specialized dementia care training is provided to all caregivers
• Our staff patiently interacts with our residents in the moment that is real to them

Inspired Daily Living

• One-on one activities that draw on carefully collected personal histories help soothe, calm, energize and redirect as needed
• Our unique and diverse sensory-based activity program engages residents with a variety of interests
• Our dedicated activity and entertainment staff partner with caregivers to provide a full time, personalized activity schedule
• Our certified Fitness Director leads residents in gentle health and wellness activities
• We offer supervised outings and excursions, including water therapy in our heated indoor pool
• Garden planting therapy in our courtyard helps create a sense of purpose and well-being

Thoughtful & Nutritious Meals

• Delicious, daily meals are carefully prepared by specially trained culinary staff
• We customize appropriate meal plans for each resident
• Family-style dining promotes as much eating independence as possible
• Cozy central dining space overlooks our garden courtyard
• Dishes and tablewear specially chosen to provide color contrast that helps identify food, prevents confusion and stimulates appetite
• Special diets and personal eating assistance available as needed

At Chateau Valley Center, we are committed to provide our dedicated Memory Care staff with ongoing specialized dementia training, including:

• STAR dementia training in cooperation with the University of Washington
• Ongoing training with certified Occupational Therapist Teepa Snow
